Different Types of Spray Tanning Equipment

Most people feel that their skin tends to look healthier with a slight bronze tone or tan instead of a pale look. To get this tan, one can use different types of spray tanning equipment and different methods. There are three main categories of equipment, and this includes natural sunlight, spray tanners and tanning beds. Natural light is usually the most inexpensive method used to get a tan, and this is the most widely and commonly used. The ultraviolet radiation in the sun tends to penetrate the skin's deeper layers to create a tan that is long-lasting. Even though was once seen as the only option to obtain a tan, the exposure has been found to cause side effects like premature aging and skin cancer.

Tanning beds are other Spray Tan Solution equipment that is gaining popularity among the people that do not have time to get natural tans under sunlight or those who believe that artificial UV radiation causes less harm in comparison to natural radiation. These beds have specialized light bulbs for the production of UV rays that provide effects similar to those produced by natural light. These can be found in vertical and horizontal models and are designed to target specific places, which include the face or the whole body.

Tanning beds can be either high-pressure or low-pressure. The high-pressure beds have higher percentage of UVA rays in comparison to UVB rays. These usually produce tans within a short time and people have the chance of visiting salons to spend less time when using this spray tanning equipment. On the other hand, low-pressure beds require one to make frequent visits for longer periods of times to use the equipment. Most of the tanning equipment that is used at home usually falls in the category of low-pressure tanning beds.

For people who want to avoid exposing themselves to the adverse effects of UV radiation, it is advisable for them to use spray tanners as spray tanning equipment. This equipment uses the high-pressure aerosol method. This involved coating the body in a solution called DiHydroxyAcetone (DHA), which is a substance that reacts with the chemicals on the skin's outer layer to produce the tanning effect. To get an accurate application, air brushers can be used. Even though this method of tanning using these devices is safer since it has the least potential side effects, the tans do not tend to last long in comparison to those people get when using the other Spray Tan Equipment.
